Reflection on 2013

Happy New Year to everyone!

As I reflect back on 2013, I have been kept very busy with our son Jacob.  He will soon be turning 3 years old which is hard to believe.  It is a very special time as he gains more understanding and communicating more and more every day.

We spent a lot of time together as a family this year including a holiday to Mexico in December.

This year was busy with the 3rd annual Royal Road Race held in May.  The race has raised $41,000 over the past 3 years which has gone towards local charities.

I continue to coach and train with the Jaleta Pacers and ran the Queen City Marathon in September.

My goal at this point in my life is to maintain my fitness and stay in shape as it is very important for me to maintain my health.

I also had several speaking engagements throughout Saskatchewan and participated in some fundraising events.  2014 is going to be another busy year with speaking engagements.

We are very grateful for each other and for our health.   The gift of our health gives us the freedom to live our lives to the fullest.   I wish everyone health and happiness in 2014!
