Arcola Community School

Saturday, 26 October, 2013

On October 21, 2013, I  spoke at Arcola Community School for Education Week on the topic of celebrating success.  I addressed an assembly of 360 students ranging from grades K-8 and from very diverse backgrounds.  The school is represented by studends from over 20 different countries.    I spoke about the importance of education and how it made a difference in my own life.  After the assembly, I spoke to each individual class and answered questions from the students.  I would like to thank the teachers of the school for inviting me to come and speak and also for the important work they do every day.
